SSL certificate To encrypt and secure all the transactions, a 256-SSL encryption certificate is
displayed on the Goldtotem tool. Provided by Starfield Technologies Inc.,
this digital secure socket layer - SSL - works with all browsers and servers
compatible with the new 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard
(AES-256). Unless your Internet browser supports 256-bit encryption, such
as the popular Mozilla Firefox web browser, you
will not be able to take advantage of this high level of security. Microsoft Internet
Explorer 5.5 (and later versions) and Netscape Navigator 6 (and later versions)
support this certificate too. The certificate used for the Goldtotem tool
is also backward compatible (128-bit or 40-bit encryption) and will provide
the maximum encryption available on software that do not yet support the new 256-bit
standard.
Although 128-bit encryption is still considered "unbreakable" by current non-classified
computing systems, computers are becoming more and more powerful. That's why Goldtotem
has already moved towards 256-bit encryption.
Whenever you access the transaction pages of the Goldtotem tool, be sure that the following secure server's address will begin with:
https://www.goldtotem.com
Secure servers All your personal information is kept securely and encrypted offline. Goldtotem stores personal identifiable information temporarily on its servers. These servers are kept in secure environments.
